We cater for all levels, including total beginners, beginner-to-intermediate, intermediate, and intermediate-to-advanced. Our surf coach gives everyone 1:1 analysis, tips and daily goals.

We LOVE our fresh beginners! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a surfboard before. We will ensure you feel safe, confident and are having fun!

No problem! Our retreats are designed for everyone, so if surfing isn’t for you but you want to come on the retreat regardless, that won’t be a problem. You can use our beach time to swim, body-surf, layout or enjoy a beach stroll, or even stay back at the house and enjoy some solo time.

Nope, we can provide foam boards and wetsuits. However, we advise you to bring your own if you have one. It is always best to practice on your own board, but if this isn’t possible, board hire is included in your retreat package.

They sure are! We provide two large main meals each day. This can look like a large breakfast and dinner, brunch and dinner, or breakfast and lunch. All snacks and desserts are provided as well. We also cater to vegetarians and do our best to support most dietary requirements; however, you are welcome to bring your food or snacks. We will work with you to help make a menu that supports you.

Being a surf & fitness retreat, this is all part of it. Our head surf coach, Biba, monitors the surf & weather forecast to do our best to provide the most desirable conditions on offer. However, as much as we wish we could, we cannot control the weather or surf conditions, and your safety is our priority. If this is the case, we have many backup options. This can look like land training, paddle training (if no waves), mobility sessions, bush hikes, game days etc. flexibility is important for all involved.

No, we do not include transport to and from our retreats. Our Luxe experience includes transport during your stay to and from activities. Our Surf & Fitness and Lifestyle Retreats do not include transport to and from surf spots or activities unless discussed and organised at an additional cost prior to the retreat. Cost is subject to the number of individuals requiring transport. Typically we all carpool together.

No problem. Our coach and founder of Nalu has over 12 years of experience. Coach Charlie is the queen of catering to all levels and LOVES teaching beginners the technique for our basic movements from the ground up. You will leave our retreat feeling energised, motivated, and a total kickass for all the fitness sessions you smashed out of the park.

Of course! Our retreats are designed for all female-identifying adventurers. Whether you’re coming solo to make new friends and find some independence or want to come with your bestie or partner, the choice is yours. Both private and public rooms are available.
